Konrad Popławski

PhD in Economics. From 2020 to 2022, he was the head of the Central European Department at the Centre for Eastern Studies, and previously a long-time analyst on the German economy. He is the author of several scientific articles, over 100 analyses, and several studies on the German economy, their foreign trade, and economic relations with Central Europe. Coordinator and author in international research projects within the consortium of think tanks of the Visegrád Group, preparing expertise for the diplomatic ministries of these countries.
He regularly gives guest lectures at Polish universities (including the University of Warsaw and the Warsaw School of Economics). Commentator and author of articles for major national media outlets. He defended his doctoral dissertation with distinction at the Warsaw School of Economics on the topic "Changes in German foreign trade after joining the eurozone."
