Zbigniew Parafianowicz
Dziennik Gazeta Prawna
A Polish journalist and reporter, affiliated with the "Dziennik Gazeta Prawna" magazine for many years. Previously, his publications also appeared in "Nowe Państwo," "Życie," and "Fakt" magazines. He graduated in political science from the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań. He served as a correspondent in Afghanistan and Iraq. His reports and publications mainly focus on events in Eastern Europe and former Soviet Union countries. He has been covering Ukrainian topics since 2003.
Together with another journalist from "Dziennik Gazeta Prawna," Michał Potocki, he co-authored two books: "The Crystal Piano: The Betrayals and Victories of Petro Poroshenko" and "Wolves Live Outside the Law: How Yanukovych Lost Ukraine”. The latter made it to the finals of the Ryszard Kapuściński Award in 2016. In 2017, his publication "Tupolewizm na pokładzie embraera" reached the finals of the Dariusz Fikus Award competition.
