Marcin Krzyżanowski, pedagogue, orientalist, businessman and former diplomat. Graduated from the Middle and Far East Department – International and Political Studies at the Jagiellonian University and the Institute of Arabic Language at the University of Damascus. Between 2008 and 2011 Head of the Political Section and DHM of the Embassy of Poland in Kabul. 2017-2018 Lecturer of Foreign Languages Institute of University of Tehran. Since 2018 lecturer of International Security and Development Studies faculty at Jagiellonian University. Member of The Polish Geopolitical Society. CEO and founder of Harekat Consulting company.

His interests are focused on the matters of security, warfare, inter- and subnational conflicts, economy and social changes of the Middle East, particularly Iran, Iraq and Afghanistan. Using interdisciplinary approach, he connects academic knowledge with practical experience.
