Francesco M. Talò

Italy's Special Envoy to the IMEC

A distinguished Italian diplomat, graduated in law from the University of Rome. Currently serves as Special Envoy for the India-Middle East-Europe Economic Corridor (IMEC). He served as Permanent Representative of Italy to NATO from 2019 to 2022. Ambassador to Israel (2012-2017) and Special Envoy to Afghanistan and Pakistan (2011-2012), Taló also served as Consul General in New York (2007-2011) and held various senior positions in the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Chancellery of the Prime Minister.
