Zoran Jolevski

Dr. Jolevski served as a Minister of Defense of North Macedonia, Ambassador to the United States, as well as a Secretary General of the Cabinet of President Boris Trajkovski. He was also the main advisor to the Macedonian Government for accession to the World Trade Organization. He worked in various positions in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from 1988 to 1999. In 1999 he was the deputy national coordinator for the Kosovo refugee crisis.

He served as a Vice-Rector for international cooperation at the European University Skopje, and was a Fellow at Harvard University. He also teaches at top American and European universities. Ambassador Zoran Jolevski has 40 years of academic, diplomatic, managerial and consulting experience in the fields of diplomacy, international trade, international development, national security, public-private dialogue and private sector development. Dr. Jolevski is currently a consultant for several multinational companies. He has authored four books and has been the chief editor of several books. He is the author of more than fifty articles.

He is the President of the Institute for Strategic Initiatives and Policies, Chairman of the Advisory Board of the Ambassador's Round Table, in San Diego, USA, and a member of the Advisory Board of “Macedonia 2025. He was the founder and the first President of the Institute for Economic Strategies and International Affairs – “Ohrid” and served also as the President of “The Boris Trajkovski International Foundation”. He served as the President of the Art Colony Debarca for several years.
